After We Collided will soon hit the cinemas – September, here we come! – and fans started wondering if there will be a third movie to the series.
The After series, written by Anna Todd, is made out of 5 novels, and After We Fell is the third one from the series. It was released back in 2014. It shows a lot more details about Tessa and Hardin’s love and lives.
As of now, we have no confirmation about a third movie. The success of the first and the second might be an essential factor in how fast we’re getting After We Fell in cinemas.
Will there be an After We Fell movie?
If we are to take a look at how successful After and After We Collided are, there’s a high probability that After We Fell will be turned into a movie. We have no confirmation from the producers, but we’re still waiting on that. After We Collided was confirmed just a month after the release of the first movie.
When is the release date?
If they start the production, After We Fell relatively comes to life soon. There are a few factors to keep in mind when it comes to the making of the movie. First, if it gets a green light. Second, when the filming starts. The filming process for After We Collided began in August 2019, and it was done in September 2019. The release date was delayed due to the coronavirus situation.
If the movie gets a green light, we’re hoping we won’t have to wait too long for it to hit the cinemas.
What’s the plot?

If you’ve read the books, then you might now that there’s a cliffhanger about Tessa’s father. This will actually start a conflict between Hardin and Tessa’s mother. And Tessa wants to move to Seattle.
This is the synopsis of the series: “Just as Tessa makes the biggest decision of her life, everything changes. Revelations about first her family, and then Hardin’s, throw everything they knew before in doubt and makes their hard-won future together more difficult to claim.”
Tessa’s relationship with Hardin takes a turn. We also learn that Steph was never Tessa’s friend. She even tries to assault her on camera sexually.
What about the cast?
If there is a third movie in plans, then Tessa and Hardin will definitely be back. That means that Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin will reprise their roles. Besides them, we also have Landon (Shane Paul McGhie), Trevor (Dylan Sprouse), Zed (Samuel Larsen), Steph (Khadijha Red Thunder), Molly (Inanna Sarkis), and Tristan (Pia Mia). The book adds other characters, such as Lillian and Riley.
As of now, we are still waiting for the second movie to be released.
