In case you’re missing Miss Piggy and Fozzie Bear, then we have good news for you. We are talking about an upcoming unscripted series on Disney+, Muppets Now, and the fans are excited to find more about it.
So if you really miss Jim Henson Characters, then you’ll be pleased to find out that more characters will make their appearances in this new series. Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Kermit, Gonzo, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, all of them will be part of the new series on Disney+. The series is supposed to make its appearance on the 31st of July, 2020.
We all got the news on Twitter, and fans started to get excited. The announcement came from the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN’s National #StreamingDay announcement. The #MuppetsNow and #MuppetsNever were trending on Twitter.
We found out more about it last year when Disney+ revealed its program for 2020. That is when they first showed the world what shows and movies they were about to present to us, and that’s when we also found out more about the Muppet Show. We got a few basic details, but we didn’t really know that much about the series. They had a lot to plan, but now we are ready to find out more.
There will be 6 episodes
According to Disney+, we are getting six episodes. Of course, the series will be produced by Muppet Studios: “In the six-episode season, Scooter rushes to make his delivery deadlines and upload the brand-new Muppet series for streaming. They are due now, and he’ll need to navigate whatever obstacles, distractions, and complications the rest of the Muppet gang throws at him”
