Apple took the smartphone industry by storm four months ago when it launched three iPhone 11 models. The new iPhone 11 lineup did amazing but now, Apple has already set its sights towards the future and it is working on iPhone 12. Since Apple is one of the world’s biggest tech companies, then it should come as no surprise that industry analysts and leaksters have made it their top priority to find out everything there is to know about iPhone 12. With that said, let’s go ahead and check out what we should expect from iPhone 12.
Improved Screen Technology
According to multiple rumors, Apple may be looking to improve the screen technology of iPhones in 2020 and use displays that feature a 120Hz refresh rate. This is great news for iPhone fans who love gaming because having access to a faster refresh rate will make it easier for them to spot enemies.
We also want to note that Apple is rumored to introduce both bigger and smaller displays in 2020. The flagship iPhone 12 will ship with 5.4-inch display. However, the more expensive iPhone 12 Pro Max is expected to be equipped with a 6.7-inch display.
Apple is usually the first one to innovate smartphone technology. Despite that, it seems like Apple is being left behind when it comes to 5G connectivity. Samsung and other tech companies have already started using Qualcomm’s latest chips that support 5G networks and this leads us to believe that Apple’s next-gen iPhone 12 lineup needs to introduce 5G connectivity as well. Otherwise, Apple fans are not going to be happy about not receiving access to faster network connectivity.
3D Depth Rear Cameras
The last thing that we want to note about iPhone 12 is that the device is expected to ship with a 3D depth sensing rear camera. Ming-Chi Kuo is reporting that all off Apple’s iPhones that will launch in 2020 will feature a new time-of-flight lens that is mounted on the back. The camera will work similarly to how Face ID does.
