Attack on Titan is one of the best anime shows out there right now, and no one denies that. Up until now, we got three seasons released, and they’re all on Netflix. Critics loved it, especially for the animation quality. The series has high ratings, and everyone loves it. Attack on Titan is based on the manga with the same name. After the third season, fans started asking: will there be a fourth season?
All we know about season 4
Season 4 of the series will be the last one. The third season ended with a cliff-hanger, and we are all waiting to see what happens next. We recently got the trailer released, and we learned a lot of details about the plot. Apparently, we’ll see a time jump in the final season.
Reiner and Eren looked a lot older. We will also probably see Annie in the final season – remember she was stuck in the ice in season 1?

About the production of the series
Last year, we were announced that Attack on Titan would be back for one final season. So the production started, but a lot has changed. MAPPA is taking care of the animation for the fourth season. Araki and Koizuka are no longer the directors, but Jun Shishido and Yūichirō Hayashi replaced them.
So when is the release date?
As of now, we don’t have an exact release date, but we have heard that it will be released in Japan in Fall 2020. Of course, those of you who are waiting for it on Netflix will have a lot of time on their hands.
