Bad News For Fortnite Players! Season 3 Was Delayed Again!

Epic Games has delayed the third season of Fortnite again, as the launch of the following Battle Pass was delayed another time.

Thankfully, the developer has confirmed the rescheduled release date. The third season of the game will start on June 11.

Also, the highly anticipated end-of-season live event, previously known as the Fortnite Doomsday event, has been delayed.

The following live event is officially called the Fortnite Device event, and it will take place on June 6, Saturday.

The news was made public in a blog post from Epic Games, which expressed how they are working hard to get everything set for Chapter 2 – Season 3. Frankly, a one-week delay isn’t that bad when you consider that the delay translates to better content and gameplay.

Words From Epic Games

Epic Games Stated:

The new launch day of Season 3 will be Thursday, June 11. Make sure to check out a one-time-only live event called The Device, now scheduled for Saturday, June 6, at 2 PM ET (please show up 30 minutes early to help secure your spot, space is limited!).

Also, Epic Games has suggested that gamers complete their Battle Pass Challenges and unlock appearance details for TNTin, Meowscles, Maya, Midas, and Skye.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Epic Games delays the start of Fortnite season 3.

Last month it was announced that the developers wouldn’t be able to meet the initially-planned April 30 release date.

They announced that there is a lot of content waiting to be introduced in the current season:

“We have multiple game updates on the way that will deliver fresh gameplay, new Challenges, bonus XP, and a couple more surprises up our sleeve!”

Stay tuned to learn more about the current season and end of season event.
