Build apps ASAP
Or at least build anything that comes into your mind and that you like. For instance, build an image of the teacher you hated most in high school. With the press of a virtual button, make the teacher receive a bucket of water on his head. While pressing another button, make him slip while stepping on a banana peel. The idea behind this is to CREATE something using what you have learned. Creating stuff using coding will make you addicted to it and thus nurturing your passion so you’ll keep improving.

There are numerous sources online where you can test your programming knowledge and skills. You could try w3schools, freeCodeCamp, Codecademy, CodeWars, or all of them. Testing your knowledge will assure yourself that your mind is still in shape and ready for action. And it will even motivate you further to improve.
Don’t underestimate the importance of a framework
Regardless of how great and popular the programming language you learn is, there’s always the need for a framework. It doesn’t matter if you know C++, Python, JavaScript, Swift, PHP, or even all of them. There’s always a better way to write some code, and that’s why frameworks are so demanded. Don’t worry, if you know the language itself, learning the framework for it will be like a walk in the park.
