Best Tips for Learning Fast How to Code

Learning web development can be a long and difficult process, but it’s not necessarily to happen that way if you have the right drive. And if you don’t have it, you can learn how to create and maintain it.

First of all, you have to realize that programming is not so difficult as it seems, or as some people say. Don’t get intimidated by all those lines of code from an app. It’s normal to not understand anything from them at the beginning because not even the programmers themselves can’t memorize and understand all. Programming is actually 75% logic and only 25% memorizing. Just do your best to learn, and you’ll succeed sooner or later.

Start with the basics

Don’t skip lessons. You must realize that they are all important. Start with the basics from any language, and don’t try to memorize everything. You should memorize only the syntax and the mechanism of how things evolve since then.

Programmers in general love to learn, and they’ll keep improving during their whole careers. There’s no such thing as a programmer who knows to do anything within his field. Besides, what else can you do better in life than to learn?

  2. It doesn’t matter how old you are, what your ethnic background is, what’s your skin color, or what religious or non-religious beliefs you have.
  3. It doesn’t matter if you make mistakes. You can always rewrite the code and refresh the page.
  4. You can earn a lot of money by becoming a programmer. In general, programmers earn around $40 per hour. You can easily imagine yourself daily what would you do with such amounts of money, and that can act as a great way of motivation for most people.

Or at least build anything that comes into your mind and that you like. For instance, build an image of the teacher you hated most in high school. With the press of a virtual button, make the teacher receive a bucket of water on his head. While pressing another button, make him slip while stepping on a banana peel. The idea behind this is to CREATE something using what you have learned. Creating stuff using coding will make you addicted to it and thus nurturing your passion so you’ll keep improving.

Test your knowledge frequently

There are numerous sources online where you can test your programming knowledge and skills. You could try w3schools, freeCodeCamp, Codecademy, CodeWars, or all of them. Testing your knowledge will assure yourself that your mind is still in shape and ready for action. And it will even motivate you further to improve.
