If you’re a fan of the legendary DOOM game series, the latest title DOOM Eternal that was released back in March is a ‘must-play.’ It’s like saving the world from an evil scourge has never been such a demanding and tough experience. The game embarks the player into an apocalyptic world dominated by demons and all sorts of gruesome creatures.
The players of DOOM Eternal will soon receive an even more challenging mission along with the arrival of the game’s first DLC entitled ‘The Ancient Gods, Part One’.
Release Date: October 20
The first DLC of DOOM Eternal launches on October 20 for all platforms: PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and PC. The publisher Bethesda Softworks released the official trailer of the upcoming DLC several days ago:
The description writes:
Your war is not over… slaying the Khan Maykr left an imbalance of power that threatens all of creation. With the aid of an old ally, battle your way back to Urdak and decide the fate of the cosmos. Your mission is now your own.
Although The Ancient Gods, Part One will test your gaming skills at maximum, there’s worth knowing that the DLC gives you a fully-powered Doom Slayer. This means that any power-up and weapon upgrade from the game will be unlocked from the start.
While playing DOOM Eternal, you should never worry that you won’t have all the needed ‘toys’ to be able to dispose of all those horrendous beasts. Every player can get a shoulder-mounted flamethrower, upgraded guns and mods, retractable wrist-mounted blade, and so on. You’ll even get to fight during a relatively new 2 versus 1 multiplayer mode. This means that a fully-armed DOOM Slayer can confront two player-controlled demons.
Doom Eternal currently counts over 100,000 concurrent players on the well-known Steam service. This assures the game a comfortable number seven on the top ten games of Steam – after PUBG, GTA5, and Football Manager 2020.
