You might love the idea of mercenaries escaped from prison who want to spread terror among innocent people, you might have a crush on Harley Quinn, or you simply like action movies. In all cases, the news about a Suicide Squad-related video game being on its way surely delights you.
The game is called Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and it will arrive in 2022 for owners of PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. It may be a long time to wait, but we can still feast our eyes on the trailer. And on Harley Quinn, of course:
Even Superman arrives at the playground this time, as it was revealed previously by the developer Rocksteady Studios on Twitter. The superhero seems determined to spoil the fun of the Suicide Squad. The game description from the trailer writes:
It’s time to take down the Justice League. Brainiac has taken control of Earth’s mightiest heroes, and its up to Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark to take down the most alpha of targets in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, coming in 2022 to PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
The Suicide Squad movie released in 2016 had great success, making about $746.8 million in the box office. It was only a matter of time until the movie will be brought into video games. Deadly beauties like Harley Quinn (played by Margot Robbie in the movie) who like to punish the naughty boys had always been a main attraction for both video games and movies. Not to mention that the rest of the plot is also a delight.
But as Superman arrives in the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League game, it marks a new addition to the Suicide Squad universe and it surely opens paths for some exciting and possible unfolding of events.
