After Trevor, Michael, and Franklin got involved in all sorts of dangerous adventures, implying running away from police, robbing banks, killing soldiers, and much more, the story must continue somehow. GTA 5 was and still is a major hit for the gaming industry, perhaps even the biggest hit of all time. The expectations from the fans are at least as big for the sequel that a whole world is waiting for.
GTA 6 is approaching its release and has a tremendously difficult mission to make the fans forget about GTA 5. But when will we finally see the next installment from the Grand Theft Auto series released and running on any platform?
GTA 6 arrives in early 2021
While we don’t know if the coronavirus pandemic is delaying the release date for GTA 6, some experts from the Intrepid Capital Funds company are expecting the game to arrive shortly after the release of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles will hit the stores. While the two stunning gaming machines will be released around Christmas, we can expect to see GTA 6 getting released by Rockstar during the first several months of 2021.
The report from Intrepid Capital Funds states the following:
“Viewed over a longer period of time or in a year when one of its franchise titles is released, a company like Take-Two is actually quite cheap,”
“While a release date has yet to be confirmed, we expect Grand Theft Auto 6 will hit the market shortly after the new generation of gaming consoles are released, which is likely a late 2020 or early 2021 event.”
So there you have it, Intrepid Capital Funds is even hoping that GTA 6 arrives on stores by the end of 2020, which would be truly amazing. But the more realistic bet is for early 2021.
The game will be running on PS5 and Xbox Series X
With Sony and Microsoft’s next-gen consoles arriving near Christmas, chances are tremendously high that we’ll get to see GTA 6 running on those machines. The specs of the consoles are very high as well.
While we know that the developers of GTA 6 will make a return to Vice City for the in-game location, we would like to know more about the long-awaited title. Until then, remember that GTA 5 still offers tons of fun gameplay!
