How to Play Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 for FREE

Especially during the actual times, you must be willing to get the chance to save the world from a pandemic. Ubisoft wants to grant you that wish, as it can embark you in the virtual world of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.

Even more, Ubisoft, the publisher of The Division 2, made the big announcement of making the game free-to-play for a limited time.

Get ready for September 24-28

This is the period when Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 becomes playable for free to those willing to enjoy it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, or Windows PC. There’s also a massive discount on the way: if you decide to buy the game after the free trial, you’ll be getting an 85% discount.

System requirements

You’ll need a pretty powerful PC if you’re willing to play Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 on it. The minimum system requirements are:

  • Operating System: Windows 7
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • CPU: AMD FX-6350 or Intel Core I5-2500K
  • GPU: AMD Radeon R9 270 or Nvidia Geforce GTX 670
  • VRAM: 2 GB
  • DIRECT X: DirectX 11 | 12

As for the recommended requirements, things become a little more complicated:

  • Operating System: Windows 7
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or Intel Core I7-4790
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • GPU: AMD RX 480 or Nvidia Geforce GTX 970
  • VRAM: 4 GB
  • DIRECT X: DirectX 11 or 12

It’s a mystery how the game doesn’t demand Windows 10, at least for the recommended system requirements, but this move will surely make a lot of people happy. Windows 7 is still highly-popular despite being officially dead since January.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 was released in March 2019, and it’s an online role-playing game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The game has some unique aspects to offer, and the platform availability is generous as well. We can expect The Division 2 to also become available for the next-generation consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, as they’ll both be featuring backwards compatibility for previous consoles.
