iPhone 12 Grants 4K 240fps Video, Faster Face ID, and More

Apple will release its flagship phone for 2020 faster than the soup opera ‘Young and Relentless’ releases a new episode. Therefore, iPhone 12 will launch itself on the market tomorrow, October 13. The main highlight of the new gadget is the next-generation A14 Bionic processor created by Apple itself, but a few other tech gimmicks are also worthy of attention.

The reliable tipster Kang recently leaked an important amount of information about Apple’s flagship phone.

4K video recording at 120fps and 240fps

It almost cannot possibly be better for the video recording area, according to the new leak. But luckily enough, the rest of the camera capabilities shouldn’t be overlooked at all. We can expect 4x optical zoom for the lower versions of iPhone 12, as well as 5x optical zoom for the Pro Max variant.

But the good news is not over yet, as the upcoming flagship iPhones will also offer up to 30x digital zoom. Those who will buy iPhone 12 will also get to take advantage of Smart HDR 3 and an algorithm stemming from the image processing system Deep Fusion.

FaceID becomes better

Nowadays, our phone is a trustworthy friend. With iPhone 12, Face ID will become significantly faster at authenticating the user. Unlocking the phone from more angles will become a reality.

According to a popular Chinese site report, the resolutions for Apple’s iPhone 12 displays will be as following:

  • iPhone 12 – 5.4-inch, 2340 x 1080 OLED display, 475 pixels per inch
  • iPhone 12 Max – 6.1-inch, 2532 x 1170 OLED display, 460 ppi
  • iPhone 12 Pro – 6.1-inch, 2532 x 1170 OLED Display, 460 ppi
  • iPhone 12 Pro Max – 6.7-inch, 2778 x 1284 OLED Display, 458 ppi

The iPhone 12 lineup will become available in four models, and the starting price will be $699.
