Killing Eve: When Are We Getting a Fourth Season?

If you have not heard of Killing Eve, it means you have lived under a rock all this time. It’s that British TV show that’s based on the novel written by Luke Jennings called Viallanelle. It is produced by Sid Gentle Films for BBC America and BBC iPlayer. There are three seasons released up until now, and the fan base cannot wait for the new one.

The first season was released back on the 8th of April 2018. The second one aired on the 7th of April 2019, and the third one on the 12th of April, 2020. Every season had eight episodes.

Here is all we know about the fourth season

The series has been renewed for a fourth season on the 3rd of January, 2020. That’s long before the third season was released. Laura Neal will be the scriptwriter, and she will also be the executive producer of the next installment.

The series has been nominated and also won many awards at Golden Globe Awards, Primetime Emmy Awards, Gotham Awards. Season 4 will be here soon.

Because of the new coronavirus outbreak and its impact on us, the production has been postponed. And this is not the only project that had to suffer. It’s very difficult to shoot an entire season during a pandemic, so the production has been delayed indefinitely.

So when is the release date of the fourth season?

The shooting of the fourth season will probably start later this year, but we are still waiting for an official statement. We’re hoping to get the new season next year.
