Right now, Legacies is one of the best supernatural series of The CW. This one is a spinoff from another series called The Originals. Julia Plec is the one who created the show, and the cast has the actors Aria Shahghasemi, Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Kaylee Bryant, Quincy Fouse Peyton in the main lead.
The series focuses on Hope Mikaelson, who is the daughter of a werewolf and vampire hybrid.
Has the series been renewed yet?
We have learned about its fate back in January 2020. The series has been renewed for a third season. It happened even before they finished airing the episodes of the second season.
We’ll have to wait a bit for the new episodes because of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. The CW has stopped the production of many of its projects, including Legacies, and it was all for the safety of the cast and crew members. The season was supposed to be released in October 2020, but now we will probably have to wait until 2021.

What about the plot?
As of now, the series is still in the early stages of development, which means that the writers are still working on the script. Right now, we don’t know much about the plot. However, due to the fact that both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals are ended, e might see more characters from these TV series in the spinoff.
