Mars 2020 Rover Set to Find Ancient Life on Mars

The Mars 2020 rover, which prepares for Mars next year, won’t seek only for trails of ancient life, but set the way for a future human mission, according to NASA. The rover has been developed in a massive, protected lab at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena. Such a project becomes the fifth US rover to be sent to Mars almost seven months later in February.

Matt Wallace, the deputy mission conductor, stated: “It’s designed to seek the signs of life, so we’re carrying several different instruments that will help us understand the geological and chemical context on the surface of Mars.”

Amongst the tools, onboard the rover is 23 cameras, two “ears” that will let it receive to Martian drafts, and lasers utilized for chemical examination.
