The Minecraft legacy continues in an all-new form dubbed as Minecraft Dungeons. Created by the same developers that brought the famous crafting game to life, Minecraft Dungeons arrives today (May 26) for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Unlike the original Minecraft, Dungeons doesn’t feature any mining and crafting. The new title is mainly a dungeon crawler game, as the player has to explore randomly-generated dungeons full of monsters. There are numerous obstacles in the way, like puzzles, traps, and more.

Brave the dungeons alone, or team up with friends! Up to four players can battle together through action-packed, treasure-stuffed, wildly varied levels – all in an epic quest to save the villagers and take down the evil Arch-Illager!”
The official website of the game further says:
“Minecraft Dungeons. An all-new action-adventure game, inspired by classic dungeon crawlers and set in the Minecraft universe!”
Minecraft is a truly unique phenomenon for the gaming world, and Dungeons will prove it once more. In a world where most of the popular games are demanding high system configuration for their ultra-realistic graphics, Minecraft proves that you can gain a lot of success in this field even with poor graphics but a unique and stimulating concept.
The original Minecraft unfolds to its players an environment where they can build pretty much anything they want. They can also compete against each other, fight various threats, and even invent something within the game. Dungeons is relying on similar elements from the main game, although it brings some entirely new features.
