The fifth season of Money Heist has officially been confirmed, and the new season will be released on Netflix sooner than expected. Fans from every corner of the world are looking forward to seeing their heroes in the new season, especially since we were given a big cliffhanger in season 4, and we cannot wait to see what happens next. We will soon find out what happens with the Professor and if the team will safely complete the heist in the bank of Spain.
Will Lisbon die? How will the Professor cope with the death of his love?
According to the spoilers, Professor and Lisbon will play a significant role in the storyline. It seems that the character of Lisbon will die and that the Professor will have some trouble coping with her death. Will the Professor sacrifice his life and save the team? We will soon find out.
So when is the release date?
The 4th season was released on the third of April, 2020. The new season will probably be released in 2021. Of course, the coronavirus outbreak has delayed the production of the series, as it did with many others at the beginning and middle of the year.
What about the cast?
These are the actors who will probably make a comeback for the next season: The professor played by Álvaro Morte, Tokyo performed by Úrsula Corberó and Raquel Murillo played by Itziar Ituño, with Esther Acebo (Mónica Gaztambide), Miquel Herrán (Rio), Pedro Alonso (Berlin), Jamie Lorente (Denver), Darko Perić (Helsinki), Najwa Nimri (Alicia Sierra), María Pedraza (Alison Parker).
As of now, we don’t know if there will be new faces in the new season.
