The trailer for My Hero Academia season 5 is finally out there, and we also have the official release date of the anime.
My Hero Academia has millions of fans all around the world, and it is, without a doubt, one of the biggest series in the manga community.
The fourth season was finished in April, and ever since then, fans have been eager to find out more about the release date of the new season.
Has it been renewed?
Season 5 has officially been confirmed, and it is currently in production. The renewal announcement was made back in April 2020, and we had a teaser at the end of the season 4 finale.
But are we really surprised that this has happened? A lot of fans already knew. When it comes to renewing an anime series, there are two factors to keep in mind: source material and popularity. The series is still top-rated, with 90% scored on Rotten Tomatoes and 8.5/10 on IMDB. When it comes to the source material, there is plenty left for an adaptation for this one. The renewal was a done deal from a long time ago.
So when is the release date?
The fifth season of My Hero Academia will premiere in spring 2021. As of now, we do not have a clear release date. There are a lot of rumors on the internet that the series would be returning in early 2021. We will probably get it in the first week of April, since the previous four seasons also debuted in the first week of April. The season might be split, which means that it will premiere in late July.
We are waiting for more information on this matter. We will probably get more next year. Here is the trailer:
