Natalia “Alinity” Mogollon, the popular Twitch streamer, has recently addressed ongoing accusations that administrators of the streaming platform manifested favoritism, therefore claiming that the rumors are “totally ridiculous” during a recent broadcast.
The Situation
It looks like, whenever there’s drama on Twitch, the name of Alinity is often present. The streamer was labeled as one of the “most controversial stars” to ever broadcast on Twitch.
Some users of the platform say that she is “unbannable” because she never suffered consequences for “throwing” one of her cats over her shoulder and feeding it vodka, after unwillingly revealing herself on stream earlier this year.
However, Alinity believes that the myth is “totally ridiculous,” as it has affected her streaming career, especially because she’s been brought to the fore again
She feels like she’s had enough, and that was obvious as soon as one Twitch fan accused her of being “exempt” from the platform’s extensive terms of service during a broadcast from June 30. She quickly commented on the situation:
“If Twitch moderation sucks d*ck, what do I have to do with that? That is not my fault. That is not my fault.”
She claims that she hasn’t done something in particular to gain favoritism on Twitch.
Also, she stated that she’s never been to TwitchCon, and she doesn’t travel.
Alinity Fighting Back
Alinity gained a reputation for responding to accusations that fuel Twitch drama.
She even took a swipe at followers who suggested that she’s “proud” of the continuous controversy surrounding her career.
“I do believe there’s certain things that I should have been suspended for. I have no control over that what-so-ever, though, I can’t do anything about that,” she said during an April 28 broadcast.
Alinity added that she believes it’s the “small” streamers that receive unfavorable treatment since most major streamers get “favorable” treatment.
