Return to the Moon after half a century
Last time when humans landed on our natural satellite was on December 7, 1972, with the Apollo 17 mission. During that day, there was a “J-type mission” that included three days on the Moon’s surface, and extended scientific capability. Three brave souls were those involved in the Apollo 17 mission: Eugene A. Cernan, Ronald E. Evans, and Harrison H. Schmitt.
Humans didn’t go to the Moon since 1972 because such a mission required huge amounts of money. However, there are plenty of conspiracy speculations claiming that hostile aliens are living on the Moon, and they scared humans away.
The real deal is way up ahead
NASA detailed that the upcoming trip to the Moon is only a part of a bigger mission of taking advantage of our natural satellite. The space agency plans that by the year 2028, it will establish more exploration with commercial partners.
Remember that only two persons get the job, so you should hurry up and get your resume done ASAP!
