Eiichiro Oda, together with his team, is not taking a rest. The manga publishers are taking a break in Japan because of the Holidays in August. According to some sources,  One Piece Chapter 989 will come out soon – this week – and we are more than happy to hear this. Here is all we know so far.

So when is the release date?

The release date is set for the 30th of August, 2020 – Sunday, at 21:30. It has also been said that the latest three chapters will be available to read for free and that the third chapter will actually be hidden when they will add a new title.

Many fans were confused about the release date being set early than initially thought. Publishers have decided to post-pone One Piece, chapter 988 for reasons unknown at the moment. Many sites have not been updated, and some of them still show that the release date is set for the 6th of September.

We advise you to wait for the official release date of the chapter.
