The release date for One Piece 989 chapter has been changed. We’re getting the issue one week later than it was supposed to hit the market. We have all been waiting for a long time for the new chapter, and now we’re getting a two-week break, and not one, as initially thought.
Eiichiro Oda, together with his team, is not taking a rest. The manga publishers are taking a break in Japan because of the Holidays in August. According to some sources, One Piece Chapter 989 will come out soon – this week – and we are more than happy to hear this. Here is all we know so far.
So when is the release date?
The release date is set for the 30th of August, 2020 – Sunday, at 21:30. It has also been said that the latest three chapters will be available to read for free and that the third chapter will actually be hidden when they will add a new title.
Many fans were confused about the release date being set early than initially thought. Publishers have decided to post-pone One Piece, chapter 988 for reasons unknown at the moment. Many sites have not been updated, and some of them still show that the release date is set for the 6th of September.
The raw scans will be leaked around the 2nd or 3rd of September, should the real release date be in September. Also, fans will start talking about it, so make sure you keep your distance if you do not want to hear spoilers.
We advise you to wait for the official release date of the chapter.
