Pokemon Go is clearly one of the best games out there right now. Even if we’re in lockdown, players can still enjoy the game, as Niantic as found a way for us to do so. The player-vs.-player league for Pokemon Go, which is also known as Go Battle League. It will come with a new leaderboard from the 10th of April, 2020. The leaderboards will show the top 500 trainers which take place in Pokémon Go PvP, and also the league transitions from Ultra League to Master League battles.
As per some announcements made by Niantic, the ranking from the board will show players on the leaderboard, but only those who are rank seven or higher, based on the in-game ratings from one day before. According to Niantic, trainers “with active disciplinary action or inappropriate Trainer nicknames will be excluded.”
The company also wants to add something new to the Go Battle League. We are talking about a limited-event, which has its focus on the Pokémon Marill. It will be called Go Battle Day, and it will take place on the 12th of April, from 11 am to 2 pm. Marill will be a basic reward after the first and third wins in the Go Battle League matches. Those of you who have a Premium Battle Pass will find Marill after every win. Also, there will be special rewards as well, like Pikachu Libre, who usually makes its appearance at rank 10. Marill will also have players take part in 20 sets of PvP battles, from 12 am to 11:59 pm, local time.
Right now, Marill is spawning in the wild, in the midst of a special spring event, which will take place between the 9th and the 16th of April.
