We have recently heard that The Prince of Persia Sands of Time remake has been leaked. As a result, Ubisoft has decided to reveal details about it. People wanted to believe that the leaked screenshots were not showing the graphics of the game, but, unfortunately, they were. Naturally, people started to be confused about the place where the game could be played: PS5 and Xbox Series X?
We all remember all the leaks and rumors about a possible Prince of Persia reboot. However, now we know: we’re going to get the real deal next year. Some people would have loved a brand new game, but we believe this one is actually what we need right now. But the graphics are all confusing. Are we going to play it on Xbox Series X or PS5?
About the pre-order bonuses
You will be pleased to find out that you can pre-order the Prince of Persia Sands of Time remake and even get bonuses for it. The remake has a release date set for the 21st of January 2021, and the pre-order bonuses will come from the Back to the Origins bundle. The bundle is made out of the original Prince outfit, a classic filter that can be turned on and off, and five swords and daggers from the original game.
According to Ubisoft, the game will cost £34.99 on PS4 and Xbox One. For a PC, you will have to pay £33.99.
What about PS5 and Xbox Series X?
As per the latest pieces of news, the game will not be sold on PS5 or Xbox Series X. But thanks to backward compatibility, it will be available on these platforms.
The remake was criticized for having “PS3 graphics”, but we’re hoping that the gameplay will show us a whole different story.
