Rick and Morty is one of the best adult animated series from Adultswim. The final episodes of the fourth season started to air on the 3rd of May, 2020. But we are all wondering whether there will be a fifth season of the series.

They ordered 70 episodes for Rick and Morty
After the 3rd season, Adultswim has ordered 70 episodes for the series, including the episodes from the fourth season. This means that we will also get a fifth season because there are still plenty of episodes to see. The fourth season will be finished on the 31st of May, 2020.
Is the series officially renewed?
As of now, we have no official renewal of the fifth season. And it’s too soon to say when we’re getting the fifth season (or if we are getting it). But we are sure it will happen.
Given the fact that the creators ordered 70 more episodes, we have reasons to believe the series will have many more seasons from now on. Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon talked about the future of the animated series: ‘It’s way too quick to say. On any given day, you’ll seem like this thing can go for 20, 30 seasons. We have characters that don’t actually age, it’s very Simpsons-esque. There’s so many we can do to keep driving this train.’

Justin Roiland will sure be back for the series. Also, Sarah Chalke as Beth, Chris Parnell as Jerry and Spencer Grammer as Summer.
Right now, we cannot predict what will happen in the next season, because they have not started the production yet. And given the new coronavirus outbreak on the globe, we are not sure when they will start working on the new seasons.
