Samsung Confirms Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2 – Release Date and Details

Things are starting to return to normal in South Korea, as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is barely causing any new daily infections. Various companies are preparing to resume their normal activity. Samsung is once again preparing something big. The smartphone manufacturer has to respect its reputation of world leader in creating smartphones, and so it recently confirmed the arrival of two awaited gadgets.

Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2 devices in a moment when few people were expecting so. During its Q1 Financial Results, the tech behemoth made the big announcement of the two powerful gadgets arriving to the market.

Scheduled for the second half of 2020

Samsung says that both phones will be released during Q2 of the year, without further announcing a precise release date.

As you might have already guessed, the Galaxy Fold 2 is the successor for the first Galaxy Fold released last year in September. Although the gadget brought out a unique design and concept, it wasn’t received so well by all the fans. Galaxy Fold is both a smartphone and a tablet in one single device, and you might have guessed why it has the ‘fold’ in the title. The device folds just like a book. But the major downside that the first Galaxy Fold had at launch was that it’s too fragile, and Samsung didn’t even try to hide it.

Therefore, fans of Samsung are hoping that their favorite company had learned from the mistakes of the past and it will bring a compelling Galaxy Fold 2.

As for Galaxy Note 20, there are some worth mentioning features like the much faster storage, new biometrics, next-gen OLED panels, faster memory, some S Pen changes, and a surprising chipset upgrade.

Without a doubt, Samsung has great plans for the future, and we should consider ourselves lucky to be able to witness all of this.
