Samsung released its Galaxy A40 model last year in April, and no fan of the South Korean company can be disappointed because of the phone. The phone is equipped with an Octa-Core Exynos 7904 processor, 4 GB of RAM, a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors display, dual camera setup with LED flash, panorama, HDR, and a selfie camera perfect for vlogging since it packs 25 MP. The South Korean company proves once again, if there was needed, that it’s among the best smartphone manufacturers in the world.
Samsung just rolled out today the Android 10 update in Italy for the Galaxy A40, and we can expect only useful features and improvements.
Firmware version: A405FNXXU3BTB8
The update brings new features like UI navigation gestures, Digital Wellbeing, new emojis, a refreshed UI and tweaked icons, smoother animations, more refined permissions manager, and more. Furthermore, the update also brings One UI 2.0 and a bunch of security improvements.
But the esthetic part of the A40 still can be improved in various ways, and so the new update brings along a dark mode for the phone.
Size: 1.7 GB
The update is huge, and thus we can easily conclude that it has plenty of exciting stuff to offer. To get the OTA (over the air) update for Galaxy A40, it’s easy if you’re living in Italy. Just check for the software update from your phone by selecting Settings » Software Update and after that, just tap Download and install.
Samsung Galaxy A40 is a great phone, and Samsung describes it as following:
“The Galaxy A40’s 5.9” Infinity-U display lets you see the details in everything you watch. From music videos to the latest boxset, FHD+ and Super AMOLED makes everything leap from the edge-to-edge screen.”
Further updates will only have to make the phone even better. There is no other way.
