Sex Education is a teen comedy series which was given to us by Netflix, and which was created by Laurie Nunn. The series was released back in 2019, and 40 million spectators watched it. Critics had good things to say about it, and the audience was thrilled to watch the show. We got to see Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, Gillian Anderson, Connor Swindells, and Emma Mackey as the main characters of the story. The plot focuses on Otis Milburn, who helps his friends by giving them sex advice for money. Fuuny, right?
The second season was released this year, and we want more and more episodes. Netflix has already renewed the series for a third season. But the production has been delayed because of the new coronavirus outbreak.

Netflix decided to postpone the production of the third season for safety reasons. The filming was supposed to start in May 2020. The streaming service has also stopped filming many other projects, such as Red Notice, You, and the second season of The Witcher.
We learned that they might start filming in August 2020, with all the safety measures included. But Netflix did not confirm this yet. If they start shooting then, they will have to sanitize the sets properly, and the cast members and the crew will need to maintain social distancing.
So when is the release date?
The release of the third season of Sex Education has been delayed, which means that we will have to wait a bit more until we’re getting the new episodes. They could be released in 2021 or 2022. Right now, we are waiting for an official statement from the streaming giant.
