Netflix has also announced that Stranger Things will renew at the end of September, in 2019. After a year, the team got together and started working. They will start filming in Atlanta, following the safety protocols.
The team has finished the scripts for the entire season. They used the long hiatus to do the entire screenplay. Netflix has not said a word about the official release date.
What about the cast?
These are the actors that will come back for season 4
Joyce Byers – Winona Ryder
Jim Hopper – David Harbour
Will Byers – Noah Schnapp
Mike Wheeler – Finn Wolfhard
Eleven – Millie Bobby Brown
Dustin Henderson – Gaten Matarazzo
Nancy Wheeler – Natalia Dyer
We will also meet new faces: Tom Wlaschiha, who has been shown as a Russian soldier. We’re not sure of his position just yet. Priah Ferguson is not a series regular – she’s Erica, Lucas’s sister. Brett Gelman also became a series regular. He will play a private investigator called Murray Bauman.
What about the plot?
The producers of the show suggest a potential pep rally, however, we don’t know anything about the crew, or if they are even involved.
Hopper will probably be back – since the cliffhanger showed us that he might be alive.
