The Big Bang Theory: Will a Reunion Happen?

According to Mayim Bialik, The Big Bang Theory reunion might not happen. She played Amy Fowler in the CBS sitcom. She became a series regular in season four, together with Melissa Rauch, who played Bernadette Rostenkowski. She became a great part of the story because she married Jim Parsons’, Sheldon Cooper.

The talks of seasons 13 were ongoing until they announced that the 12th season of the series was going to be the last one since Jim Parsons decided to exit the series. So they had a one-hour special finale, which was full of emotions, and it truly satisfied the viewers. However, despite the fact that it ended more than a year ago, it remains so popular, and the fanbase is asking for a new season.

And people started to talk about a reunion. But that night might not happen, at least not anytime soon. The cast members are busy, but that’s not all, according to Bialik. There are also some legal constraints.

She stated: ‘This aspect of the industry is that everyone does have other jobs and all sorts of other things going on. Right now, Jim Parsons and I are producing a show Call Me Kat, so that’s technically where my life is. Again, there’s a lot of legal stuff which is very boring about why shows do have reunions and don’t, but I think it’s probably too soon.’

Friends did it

But the fans surely want to see the protagonists of the show again. A reunion might happen. Executives can solve the problem of legalities, which Bialik talked about, even if she didn’t really get into the specifics. But they can do a reunion if the demand is high. The upcoming Friends project proved it. Friends fans have been asking for years for a reunion, especially since some other sitcoms got revived or rebooted. We know it took a while, but it’s officially happening.

As of now, we know nothing about The Big Bang theory reunion.
