The Grand Tour Season 5: Status, Release Date, Cast, Plot

The Grand Tour Season 5 is right around the corner. Andy Wilman, the showrunner of the series, knows the drill of the show. Not using the specific words, he hints at the end of the series. Although he did not mention The Grand Tour at all, we assume he refers to the show. But nevermind, Season 5 is confirmed.

The Grand Tour Season 5 Status

The series has become very popular, “a grand success,” to use the right words. The Grand Tour features unique cars; it includes racing and celebrities, all in one place. Therefore, the public members fell for the dreamy automobile world. The show will offer fans another “grand tour” this year. The Grand Tour Season 5 is revived for up 5 to Amazon Prime.

Release Date

Andy Willman announced the show renewal on his Instagram account. However, this is all we know at the moment. There hasn’t been any official news regarding the release date. Another worth mentioning fact is that the franchise was extended for another two decades, which means two more seasons. 

Season 5 Cast

  • Richard Hammond Jeremy Clarkson, 
  • James May, 
  • Mike Skinner, 
  • Abbie Eaton. 

However, Season 5 might include new faces as well, according to rumors.

Plot

The show is similar to Top Gear. As already mentioned above, the Grand Tour supplies car reviews. It is mainly focused on cars, racing, and from time to time, it includes celebrity guests. The group is also flying around the world. In Season 4, we see them in places such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam. However, they later focused on Asia.

Unfortunately, we don’t know the location for the upcoming season. However, what we know is that the show will be full of adrenaline, funny moments, and beautiful places. I can’t wait to see the group together once again.
