The Halo Master Chief collection will get a significant update in September 2020. Besides the arrival of Halo ODST on PC, the collection will also come with brand new features and improvements to make it even better.
The game was firstly released back in 2014 on the Xbox One, which gave access to the player to HD remasters of Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4, Halo ODST, and Halo Reach.
The entire collection has been released on PC as well, but it’s still more like a work in progress because Microsoft keeps adding content to both of the versions of the MCC.
The new addition in the latest MCC update comes with the Halo ODST on PC, but that’s not all. All the players on PC and Xbox will get access to ODST Firefight.
Season 3 has come with a lot of new things added to the collection, which gave players new options when it comes to customization in Halo 3 and ODST, and weapons such as Silenced SMG, Brute Plasma Rifle, and Automag, which are now also available in Halo 3’s multiplayer.
The patch notes for the MCC from Microsoft also show the quality of life improvements, from multiplayer customization to rearranging the user interface elements. They also fixed bugs and the tweaks of the gameplay, which makes it even more enjoyable.
So when is the release date?
There is not a clear announcement for the release date, but we do know that we will need to wait a lot of time before another update this big is being added. Microsoft has already seen the bugs that need to be fixed, and we will probably learn more in the next few days when PC players will start playing ODST.
