There’s Confirmation for a New Suicide Squad Game Title

The 2016 movie Suicide Squad delighted a lot of DC Comics fans, and it automatically granted a lot of inspiration for video game developers. Rocksteady Studios confirmed on August 7 that it’s working on a new Suicide Squad-related project.

The company made the big announcement on Twitter, and the post already gathered an impressive number of likes. By what we’re seeing, it seems like Superman will be the next target of Harley Quinn and the rest of the bad guys:

Judging by the period this announcement came, the chances are practically zero that the upcoming Suicide Squad game won’t be available for the next-generation consoles as well. Both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will come out by the end of the current year, and they feature backward compatibility for most games of their predecessor consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, respectively.

Official moniker: ‘Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’

Warner Bros. revealed the title of the upcoming Suicide Squad game as part of the schedule for DC FanDome, a mega virtual convention for DC Comics-related stuff. On August 22, we’ll find out a lot more about the game thanks to DC FanDome, an event that lasts for 24 hours and promises to reveal news for movies, TV shows, and also games from the DC universe.

The Suicide Squad topic will be hosted by actor Will Arnett, and it’s scheduled to start at 8 pm EST. The presentation will only last for 20 minutes, but hopefully, more will be said than any trailer can reveal.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will most likely come out in 2021, and we can’t wait to see Margot Robbie’s character in up to 8K resolution. There’s no telling at this point that the game arrives on PC, but we can bet on a positive answer for that matter.
