We all know how the situation is with the pandemic and how it put a stop to our favorite shows. But it seems that there is one show that did not have to suffer, and that’s The Umbrella Academy. The show is coming with brand new episodes of Season 2. The filming for it started back in June 2019, and they were ready in November 2019. Season 1 had high ratings, and it was terrific.
So when is the release date?
The second season of The Umbrella Academy will be out of the 31st of July, 2020. Because it was that successful, they simply had to come with a new season as soon as possible. We have also heard that we won’t be waiting long until a trailer makes its appearance.
Rumor has it…
Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger, where all the main characters were stuck in the past as teenagers. However, the adopted siblings got into different time zones of the 1960s spanning up to three years.
But we’re all sighing in relief because all the Hargreaves siblings are alive, and they were able to escape the apocalypse.
This show is based on a novel with the same name. The powers of Five (played by Aidan Gallagher) are what got us into this situation.
What about the cast?
Besides Aidan Gallagher, we will also see om Hopper, Robert Sheehan, Ellen Page, David Castaneda, Justin H. Min, and Emmy Raver-Lampman. But what about the rest of the cast? We don’t know. But there are also new actors joining the cast: Ritu Arya, Yusuf Gatewood, and Marin Ireland.
What about the plot?
The second season will bring Five trying to get all of the siblings together. He also has to convince them to stop the apocalypse and to bring all of them together so that they can return to their present.
