Trailer for Mafia Trilogy is Hinting at a Return of The Series

Mafia was a highly successful open-world game series, and the second game of the series is clearly the highlight. Mafia 2 was released in 2010, and it was a highly realistic game for its time. Both the story and the graphics were compelling, as the player is in charge of Vito Scaletta and has to make him succeed in a world full of crime and greed.

But a freshly released video is hinting to a return of the Mafia series, and you can admire it in all its glory below:

It’s been four years since the latest installment of the famous series. Mafia 3 was released in 2016 for the usual platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox One, and macOS), and it wasn’t received so well by the fans. They are still waiting for a game similar to Mafia 2.

More info on May 19

We’re eagerly waiting for this date, as new precise info is expected to arrive to the public. Hopefully, a new Mafia game will bring what the second iteration of the series has best and much more.

If you don’t now yet anything about Mafia 2, the description from Steam can shed some light onto the mystery:

Vito Scaletta has started to make a name for himself on the streets of Empire Bay as someone who can be trusted to get a job done. Together with his buddy Joe, he is working to prove himself to the Mafia, quickly escalating up the family ladder with crimes of larger reward, status and consequence… the life as a wise guy isn’t quite as untouchable as it seems.

If you’re ever willing to play Mafia 2 on a PC, you must know that the system requirements are surprisingly low. The game even works on Windows XP, and it only demands a minimum of 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB for the storage space, and an Nvidia GeForce 8600 / ATI HD2600 Pro or something better for the video card.
