Valorant: Check Out the Release Date of The Game

2020 is not going away without a decent fight when it comes to gaming. The overall difficult period that we’re all facing has been delaying plenty of events, but the gaming world is still doing pretty well. The releases of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles in December might be the biggest event in gaming history, but things are far from over.

Valorant looks like a more modern and overhauled version of Counter-Strike, being a FREE 5v5 character-based tactical shooter from Riot Games.

Release Date: June 2nd

As you can easily conclude for yourself, the game is already out and ready for you to jump in and explore its world where dangers lurk at every corner. For the moment, Valorant can only be played on Windows PC’s, but we can expect its availability to be enhanced for other platforms as well.

Game Director Zoe Ziegler had an interview for The Express Online, as he explained what Epic Games is planning regarding the compatibility of the game with any of the streaming services. The guy declared:

“There are a lot of new cloud gaming and streaming platforms now that are providing services that we haven’t discussed working with.

“In terms of whether or not we’d support them, I think that would both be about understanding what those services could provide to our players, and whether or not those services could support the high performance and networking standards we want to enforce for our game.”

How to play Valorant

All you have to do is to access Valorant’s official website and select “Play Now”. You’ll further have to log into your Riot account if you have one, or you can sign up for a new one if that’s the case. After you complete either one of these two simple procedures, you will be taken to the download page of Valorant.

As for the system requirements of the game, Valorant is not pretentious at all in this area. For the minimum accepted requirements, the game asks for an Intel Core i3-370M for the CPU or something similar, and 4GB of RAM.
