We have all heard of After We Collided. We cannot wait to see what the sequel to 2019’s After has prepared for us. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, the release date of the film is not clear yet.
Everyone loves a young adult fiction story, especially if it was under the rom-com category, with just a little bit of drama. We were thrilled to see the film adaptation of the novel with the same name, called After, even if it was said to be a more innocent version of Fifty Shades of Grey.
The film was very successful, and the sequel was quickly announced soon after. The movie was supposed to be released in 2020. However, because of the coronavirus pandemic, the release has been postponed, and right now, we’re looking for some answers.
After We, Collided is the sequel to 2019’s After. It is based on the novel with the same name written by Anna Todd, and it continues the story of the Tessa Young (Josephine Langford) and Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes-Tiffin). We all know how the story ended in the movie, so right now, we’re waiting to see how they will continue it.
So when is the release date?
The filming process for the movie happened between the 20th of August and the 16th of September 2019, so it is safe to say that they finished filming. In January 2020, the production of the film was completed, and we just needed a release date. However, with the pandemic going on, the entire cinema industry had to deal with some issues when it came to release dates, so right now, we’re waiting for an official statement to see when we will get an official release date.
